Most XE88 slots lean on lucky colours and festive symbols. House of Doom goes the other way. When it arrived in 2020, the old site called it a refreshingly different theme for horror fans, and it still is: a purple night sky, a haunted mansion behind the reels, and skulls where you would normally see gold coins.

Lines and bets you can set
Unlike most slots on this site, House of Doom lets you change both the line count and the line bet. Each has its own plus and minus buttons at the bottom of the screen. The screenshots show 25 lines at a bet of 1.00 and, in one case, a single line at 0.01.
That flexibility is useful if you want to try the game on a very small stake first. The catch is the same as always: with fewer lines, fewer patterns pay. The screen also has AUTO START and SPIN, with your current balance on the left.
Three jackpot meters
Across the top are three meters labelled MAJOR, RANDOM and MINOR, with values that change between screenshots. That points to progressive jackpots fed by play. The old page gave no rule for how they are won, and nothing in the screenshots shows one being hit, so check the in-game help if the jackpots matter to you.
Who it suits
House of Doom is for players who are tired of red packets and gold ingots. The art is detailed and the palette is moody. Try it at a low stake first, since the adjustable lines make that easy.
